...who thought we'd ever be able to say Torchwood has been better than Doctor Who.
Very few are, it would seem.

I wouldn't say Miracle Day was classic TV or anything, but I've at least prefered it to the series 6 abomination....who thought we'd ever be able to say Torchwood has been better than Doctor Who.

Since there didn't end up being any use made out of Esther's stupid decision to use her real name in the overflow camp (and her subsequent mini-breakdown over that idiocy once she and Rex were leaving), Tosh could've been name-dropped in the same way Owen was - Jack could have suggested she use Tosh's name for her cover. There just wasn't any reason plot wise to mention Tosh.
Oh. Alright. Just me then.I wouldn't say Miracle Day was classic TV or anything, but I've at least prefered it to the series 6 abomination.
Fair enough, but my point was regarding your use of the word "we".![]()
@Tom like I theorized a couple of pages ago...I think the Time Vortex energy has spent enough time in Jack's system that it has started to saturate into his blood stream. Therefor now it can be transfused like with what happened with Rex.
Maybe the Blessing put up a local (Earth) block to the Time Vortex that provides Jack his Immortality. Maybe, had he travelled away from Earth, that block would've been removed and he would've still been Immortal?@Tom like I theorized a couple of pages ago...I think the Time Vortex energy has spent enough time in Jack's system that it has started to saturate into his blood stream. That may be an answer for Rex but still it is implied that that The Blessing is more powerfull than Time itself because it could make Jack mortal. Nothing on Earth should have the power to make Jack mortal. Then again, we really know nothing about the Blessing so maybe it is tied to the time vortex somehow, wish it was explained more.
Eh really? I don't remember the blood bank thing for some reason or either didn't think it significant. I still don't see it. Episode 8 we are shown some device that can make you mortal and it seems to be running along those lines, in episode 9 we cut to two months later and jacks blood is bagged. I feel as if i missed out on an episode. They knew the three families took Jack's blood in the past. They knew all blood banks had their reserves destroyed post-miracle. They put two and two together and figured out either Jack's blood or, at a minimum, mortal blood, was important.
Do you remember Esther taking Jack's blood, Jack calling her a Vampire, and the conversation taking place before that, and Esther putting the new bag of blood into the refrigerator along with the existing collection of his blood already there?Eh really?
