Torchwood is to perverted...

It was safe sex.

Though a few weeks earlier this lad was found by his mates handcuffed to his bed after a bad select from internet dating.

A gay character outed himself on Warehouse 13 this week.

He kept his shirt on the whole time!

I'm sure you can't post who due to spoilers rule, message me who it was I miss that show since we had to stop cable tv, me and my dad use netflix now.

Damn, missing alot.

Right now I'm watcthing something called Sirens. A British Drama about Ambulance drivers. Two gay blokes catch another's eye in church, and without a word traded, they tumble into the toilet block makng out, take their shirts off, and then get confused as they fluff about who's going to fuck who in the batty first.

Maybe that's just what it's like to be gay over there?

Ah you see, back in the day, the first one into the shopping bag got the blow-job.

Where is the rest of the subject?

Torchwood is to perverted, as "blank" is to "blank" ... What are the blanks? OP, where is the rest?

I love Amber Benson, but when Joss Whedon made her say that a character she played for him stayed off the internet because she couldn't tolerate all the poor spelling, my heart skipped a beat that I was seemingly betrayed and riled by some one so completely beautiful.

Ninjacore, you have to alter your personal settings if you want to receive personal messages.

Micha quit in the last episode last season, and despite the Christmas episode that came out between season 2 and three, Aaron Ashmore who once upon a time played Jimmy Olsen on Smallville arrived on the scene as "The new Guy" as the titular character in episode 301: The New Guy. The following week in 302, Claudia is verbally squirting chum claiming that he is hitting on her and that he shouldn't feel insulted that he's not her type... This is the girl who in the Eureka crossover episodes was macking with Fargo.

the new guy "Steve Jinx" stopped Claudia in her tracks with some fully loaded truth: "I'M GAY! PLEASE STOP TALKING!"

HA!

My spell checker, is claiming that Smallville is not a word and perhaps I might mean to be typing "Small-time" or "Small-minded".

:)

I must admit, I did find the approach taken by series one Torchwood to be highly irritating. RTD's boast, 'in this series, EVERYONE has a same sex kiss!', seems to be nothing more than an attempt to Make A Statement. Rather than having a gay or bisexual character, everyone was forced into situations, irrespective of what we knew about them, to support an agenda. I found this undermined both the drama and characterisation on the show.

Ianto was the extreme case of this. Just weeks after his girlfriend is murdered, he's playing stopwatch games with her killer. Ludicrous.

And just for the record, it is not the fact that homosexuality and bisexuality occurred on Torchwood that annoyed me. It is the hamfisted, bungling portrayal during season one that did. I hope that statement was unnecessary, and that my fellow TrekBBSers understand where I'm coming from on this. But in my experience it is distressingly common for peoples views to be misunderstood.

Ninjacore, watch Torchwood season 3, then get back to us. It's only 5 episodes, and there's no Owen.

I have to speak up now, since something in this thread is really bothering me. The title is "Torchwood is to perverted..." when it should be "Torchwood is too perverted..."

Yeah, I know, idiotic thing to complain about, even the best of us make spelling mistakes, I'm an irrational douche, blah, blah, blah.

No, I don't have anything to add to the discussion itself.

Heh, I thought it was a comparison thread. Torchwood is to Perverted, like "X" is to "Y"

Yea, S1, they were so busy showing how adult they were, IMHO, they did get too carried away with the random sex in general, but they did get over that habit, and although, continue with the sexiness, it didn't seem as random after S1.
