I would place it in science-fiction because the majority of the movies they view are in that general genre.

Science Fiction:

- Trek (all versions, though my favorite is Enterprise)
- The original Battlestar Galactica
- The 80's version of Twilight Zone

Drama:

- Law & Order (all versions; in this case, my favorite is the original)
- The first season of Boomtown

Comedy:

- Corner Gas
- The Red Green Show
- Monty Python's Flying Circus
- Whose Line Is It Anyway?
- Red Dwarf

Reality:

- Crime & Punishment (reality version of L&O)

Out of all of these, my favorite TV show of all time, without a doubt, is Corner Gas.

Good to see You Can't Do That on Television getting some love. Now, if only they could get the series out on DVD...

Clearly comedy, since all the material they added to the original films were comedy skits and snarky remarks.

In no particular order, and excluding part or one-season shows:

Science-Fiction
Blakes 7
Babylon 5
Farscape
Doctor Who (based entirely on classic Who, minus the McCoy & C. Baker eras)
Lost

Drama
Hill Street Blues
Six Feet Under
ER (before it turned to crap)

Comedy
The Golden Girls
I Love Lucy
Friends
The Good Life
As Time Goes By
Yes, Minister / Prime Minister

Children
Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies
The Muppet Show
The Flintstones

Overall
Six Feet Under
Hill Street Blues
Blakes 7
As Time Goes By / The Golden Girls
Babylon 5 / Farscape
Friends
Lost
(classic) Doctor Who

Or something like that, anyway. The first two drama shows sprang immediately to mind; I struggle to think of any others. I could have included four or five more comedies. Basically, if I can be bothered to collect it on DVD (or try to; looks like Hill Street Blues will never be released in full :scream:), it belongs on my list.
