This snuck up on me. I love this show. I'm not into cooking shows nor Bravo's other reality competitions but there's something special about Top Chef.

great news.. this is one of the quality shows.
The two people who were eliminated were exactly who I thought would go. This year's cast is quite different than previous years. I'm curious to see how the group dynamics will work out.
Since NYC is my hometown, it's a fun thrill for me to see them going to all these places I've been (or go to regularly).

I dreaded this, I watch too much TV already and now Top Chef is back. I think this show gets more interesting once the numbers go down a little but it's still fun to get the ball rolling.
I don't recall any faux-hawks this year or really out there hair. Though we do get tattoos.
At least Patrick didn't embarrass himself like first guy out Clay last year, plus he's still a student so it's hard to feel too badly for him. Pretty boy Jeff seems like a complete flake, I look forward to future meltdowns. My favorite so far is self-taught chef Gene.

Yeah, I didn't feel too bad for Patrick because he's a young student. He just bit off more than he can chew, which will be good for his character.
My immediate faves are the Finnish guy, Laura the Italian chef and Eugene.
