As for why not TAS: I'm from Germany, and TAS has been on TV only in a heavily cut version - as least as far as I'm aware of. There are - however - the DVDs, but I hadn't been able to catch up on them. So, yes, I admit it: I never have seen TAS in its full glory.

Yeah, you're right, the uncut and newly dubbed versions were never shown on German television (not so sure about Pay-TV though). But they are out on DVD and VHS (and sure are worth buying ;)).

^^^^
I'm planning to do so. They are the only Trek I haven't seen, and it is kinda embarassing now that I started hanging around on this board.

^ It sure doesn't have to be. ;)

Oh, and a late welcome to this board. Viele Grüße nach Bremen!

Vielen Dank. I think I'll enjoy my stay - and it surely helps staying awake during night shifts ;).

I wouldn't exactly call it work. It's a little like "Waiting for Godot" - waiting for people that usually won't appear. I'm working as a night clerk/Nachtportier in a hotel.

^ Ah, okay. Hope you don't forget to clear cookies and history. (If it isn't your PC.) ;)

I have to admit, doing those lists was kinda hard, cause I love a lot of the episodes. Because TOS, even when not completely serious or as great as most of the time, was still a fun show to watch. It was never boring or 10 minutes longer in runtime - which is something of a complain of mine with the post-TOS shows, the ones that don't hold my interest, that is.

Has this ever happened to you?
