Top 5 Worst Episodes of Entire Franchise

Memorial is vile and I completely disagree with Janeway's decision and yet is a classic Trek ethical dilemma and not boring.

Even though I completely disagree with Janeway's decision at the episode's end, Memorial is actually one of my favorites of VOY. It actually takes the four most under-utilized characters on the show (Kim, Chakotay, Neelix and Paris) and lets them carry the episode. And the scene where Neelix protects Naomi from his hallucinations is very good, IMHO.

Well haven't thought much about it overall, but three worst productions are STV, Threshold, Turnabout Intruder.

I noticed several have mentioned "Turnabout Intruder". I understand why, but I must say I thought it was amusing watching Shat act like a woman. It had some good moments.

Shades of Gray - TNG. A clip show!

I actually don't mind clip shows. There are many worse episodes that are completely original Code of Honor for one.

I also really like the scene in Shades of Grey when Geordi and Data are on the planet, and Data's lightning reflexes save Geordi from being infected.

And say what you will about Force of Nature, which I agree is an absurd episode, it does have those hilarious scenes with Spot.

No, I just think that Charlie is a brat who has no concern for human lives and He is just So ANNOYING I could have absolutly throttled him. My feelings of resentment and hate for him are too great to put in any words. So NO it's NOT the FREAKIN SINGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is interesting to see that some folks hate some admittedly mediocre episodes (like Charlie X) but like some genuinely horrible ones (like Shades of Gray). As a young child, I liked the cheesy TOS episodes. Then when I grew up I was embarrassed by the cheesy ones, but really liked the better, more serious ones. Now I like the better ones AND the cheesy ones. Still can't stand And The Children Shall Lead though.

TNG had some real stinkers in the first season, before they sort of found their voice, or their rytham, or whatever.

Voyager and TNG were nothing alike. TNG followed the Trek format of exploration and military functions. Voyager was Gilligan's Island in space where the castaways were trying to get off the space island.

Hey I know that most don't like 'Shades of Gray' but I liked seeing all parts of rikers life on TNG up to that moment plus seeing Tasha Yar die again was So worth watching it. and the set up to the clip part was pretty cool with the living vines. But the clip aspect was pretty so so. so sorry I openly hate CHARLIE X and like Shades Of Gray DEAL WITH IT

Can I vote for TOS' "Alternative Factor" 5 times. Absolutely the worst of the worst. Absolutely ZERO plot just aimless wandering about, and when the episode grinds to a halt (which it does frequently) the writers just resort to....

Completely incomprehensible. I mean at least with "Spock's Brain" there's a certain charming cheese factor to it. But "Alternative Factor" is just dreadful.
