Very sad. The last I had read, he was doing better. As for ascribing evil to people who simply have a different political outlook, nothing could be more short-sided.

Actually that's not why, he was making GOOD money with Fox Made-Up News, and he wasn't making enough money to keep his over the top life style, he even said it during one of his final press conferences. Probably the closest thing to the truth he ever said up there.

Another man passed away before his time. Bobby Murcer, former Yankee player and broadcaster, died today at the age of 62 from complications from brain cancer.

He was a hell of a guy who was almost always right (in my opnion, of course) and served his country well, if for all too brief a period. His commentaries made Fox News an even better channel than it is and I would say it hasn't been the same since he left..
Like Russert in many career aspects (but not nearly on his same level), Tony Snow made no bones about his political leanings, but he was always fair and never held back, when he was interviewing either a democrat or repulican.
Add to that he was a talented musician and a great family man...
Dammit.. Just so unfair... (Let me also add that in this day and age, it's so unfair that ANYONE has to die from cancer anymore...)

Tony Snow's "over the top lifestyle" was really about providing some financial security for his family while he had a few years left. That's far different from the self-indulgent pursuit of luxury, as you imply.

You know what someone died and left behind a wife and children and comments on this board should be about that. If you don't have anything nice to say shut up Think about his kids spending the rest of their life without their dad. If anyone of you had gone through something like that might have some more compassion. He was a mouthpiece for an evil goverment,how about a little less drama. My sympathy goes to his children and wife that have to live on with a hole in their lives.
