I think he's mentioned before that he works on a military base. They pay once a month. A lot of salaried employees get monthly paychecks as well.

*shrugs* My best friend and closest confidant was a former stripper. She's a beautiful lady and one of the strongest but nicest people I've ever met. She has helped me out more than anyone in my life.

One more thing... if he can't afford a pair of movie tix at about $10/ea... how's he going to pay for dinner? When I've gone out to dinner dates, it been to very modest places, and even then it costs around $30-$35. What's the plan, here? I don't know if McDonald's is a great place to take a date...

I asked her out to a movie and dinner and she said yes!I am still wary of all of this but I am so excited right now I could burst. The chance to actually go on a date is os new to me. Even if it ends badly I will have valuable experience! It' just occured to me that I've never been to a strip club in my life. Dance clubs, bars, but never a strip club. am I missing out on anything? Can't say I feel the need.
Eh, I've only ever been to one titty club, and I only went a handful of times. Honestly, I didn't get the point. Even lapdances, I didn't find that interesting.

The only time I ever went to strip clubs was in college where it was more of a just being with the guys kind of thing. In my late 20's I was a very lonely virgin who lived within walking distance of about 4 clubs. I still never went to one once. No I don't think anybody's missing anything by not going.

Same was true of me up til early this year, when I was the designated driver for my sister and her husband. They went to one, I followed. I never felt any urge to go to one, nor any particular urge to go back. If they're being paid, I just have no real interest. I can't fool myself into thinking they're actually into me, and that kinda kills it.

I wasn't attempting to implicate you personally. My point was that not so long ago many folks would've said much the same thing about inter-racial couples. Undoubtedly there are some who'd still say it today.
There's nothing intrinsically immoral about being a stripper or pornography, and if there is then the sin is shared by performer and observer alike, yet only the performer is ostracised from "regular society". Why is that?

She had to work so we will proably go later, asuming I can borrow some money from my mom. I did have some money recently but I just lost it all at the local Indian Casino. My dad was down yesterday and he gave me some money because he knows I don't make much in my job and he does really well with his business but now it's all gone. I sometimes hate being poor,dumb and unlucky.
