"To the Death": the Defiant's transporter pad

Good afternoon.

I can't remember...does the Defiant's transporter pad feature a force-field containment system? In the episode "To The Death", there's no mention of a force-field going up prior to the retrieval of the survivors on the Jem'Hadar ship. For whatever reason, I remember a lone Jem'Hadar walking through the force field in Ops way back during "The Jem'Hadar", but I can't recall if any future example of the species performed a similar stunt; also, "The Jem'Hadar" featured some weirdness such as a Vorta projecting an energy blast, so...I am unsure if everything established in that episode was carried over. Regardless of the brutes themselves, wouldn't Weyoun be contained by such a barrier?

You can set up a containment field pretty much anywhere. There's no mention of it in To the Death because the characters didn't bother to use one.

After The Jem'Hadar, we never see one walk through a field again. Even if they had cause to, presumably Starfleet managed to modify them to close that loophole, as they did with the Dominion's ability to penetrate their ships' shields.

Puzzling...there was no real reason for abstaining (at least none that I could see). Filtering out the Jem'Hadar's weapons during transport was smart and erecting a force field to eliminate the possibility of the Jem'Hadar charging the crew of the Defiant is also smart.
