Except for that annoying fact that that was only one of the things I posted about the 22nd century, but it seems everyone had ADHD now.
One of two things, the second being even shorter.
Also how much we know was never the point, but you know, comprehensive reading is difficult, eh?
The point was, what we know, and whether it is contradicted.

That was not the point. The point was that there's no way you could extract your little laundry list of Enterprise "must-haves" from the on-screen mentions of the 22nd century.
My point was that the quoted post that you said "Nope" to was absolutely right. Prior to Ent, every line of dialog concerning facts about the 22nd century would not have filled a single commercial break. But you ignored that and returned to your thesis for this Star Trek XI thread... a thesis which seems to be "Enterprise sucked."
That's a load of crap. Geezus, there is a ton of stuff on TOS talking about 'a century earlier' which gives youi plenty of ideas about non-interference not being in effect (PIECE OF THE ACTION comes to mind) and also ships that got outsmarted by locals (TASTE OF ARMAGEDDON) ... the no-visual communciation is TOTALLY valid, given that you're talking about wholly different com protocols with ALIEN species who may or may not even recognize the 21 cm hydrogen band, and were perhaps smart enough not to start off with NTSC TV. There have probably been term papers written on the unseen trek of century 22 derived from onscreen tos references ...
But if you choose to believe that ENT hewed to what was established and paid off the potential inherent in the prequel premise, well, then I'd conclude the other poster "has reality, and you have illusion. May you find your way as pleasant."
the way i always saw the non visual communication is that the romulans didnt use it.
didnt mean it didnt exist on the earth side.
and heck talking of piece of the action.
it supposedly is post romulan war since it seems to be early federation.
but supposedly subspace communication dosnt exist.
but they used subspace to work out the romulan treaty.
look people get hyper about photonic because it sounds similar to photon.
but it could also imply a connection of using lasers with fusion.
heck there are even practical reasons why the war at times would have used more primivie means to fight.
if supply lines were in jeporady then maybe nuke some asteriods.
and you are getting A Taste of Armageddon confused with return of the archons.
armageddon first contact was 50 years previous to tos.
as far as ships that got outsmarted by locals.
well landru was doing a pretty fine job of bringing enterprise down until kirk used his anti computer mojo on it.
really considering how far out horizon and archon got they couldnt have been that primitive.
as for why nukes in the romulan war..
those torpedoes of enterprise could have still been fusion
based.
as for /..
"Ships that allowed no quarter." --> The NX-01 does.
"Ships that allowed no captives." --> The NX-01 does.
"Primitive atomic/nuclear weapons." --> The NX-01 has sub-atomic weapons.
i am sorry but that is reaching a bit.
to take something that was ment to be a specific reference to one conflict and apply it in general to a whole era.
they didnt take captives ect because it was how romulans fight.
though i always had issues about how no one supposedly knew what romulans looked like until balance of terror.
sorry, bodies are going to get spaced out during battles.
it makes more sense if a few found out and there was a massive coverup to keep the knowledge hidden.
heck it might look very bad for building the federation is such an inconvient truth was known about one of the allies and species they had just finished fighting.
the vulcans especially probably would wanted the connection be remain secret as long as possible.
