Actually, it's not start. I've made a lot of LCARS stuff, can upload more later
And about the colors: i like them. I know they are not accurate, but still, it doesn't look so bad.

I'm working on some of the astrometrics displays. I found some of the images on the hubble website. I like the ds9 disply you made. I will have a section on my site for fanmade graphics.
