Amazon UK just cancelled my preorder stating the release has been cancelled ! They keep doing this - did it with Silent Weapons and the last DTI release.

It's annoying - any change in the due date and they take it as cancelled...

Bol.com is being odd aswell. Usually the release-date for new Trek novels is added to the book 3 weeks in advance, sometimes even more. Now, all it still says is 'not yet released'. Can't even pre-order.

After Amazon UK cancelled three of my orders, I switched to www.bookdepository.co.uk. They haven't let me down yet.

    Oooh...

We know of Wesley... anyone know (or have guesses about) who else may return? Hopefully I don't have to wait long to get my hands on this one and find out!

Also, "returning" people to Treklit isn't the usual way David Mack plays things... /obligatory "David Mack kills people" joke

The Rama comparison in that self-interview is super-exciting, I love artifact stories.

Finished it, thought it was the weakest of the three. There's nothing bad about it as such but neither the main threat or the Fellowship plotline really engaged me. A shame after a strong first two books.

I'm sure others will like it but it wasn't for me.

No, they had to release it now because it actually will trigger the end of the world. The Angel of Death's greatest feat.

For what it's worth, I've also found them very reliable. :)

At a B+N last night. Don't think I've ever seen a Trek book this early in the month.

Damn, you're lucky because my Barnes & Noble didn't have it.
