TNG on Spike?

I noticed that that TVguide.com doesn’t show any TNG airing dates on Spike beyond September 27, whereas Voyager and DS9 scheduling extends into October, and it appears that Spike is going to air additional hours of the other 2 mentioned trek shows. Does this mean that Spike is doing away TNG, which would probably leave G4 as the only other network?

It appears that Spike is opting not to continue showing TNG. They are redoing their schedules and Most Amazing Videos is going to replace it. There were rumors that this was going to happen a few months ago as well, but most people thought that it was simply rumor.

DS9 is returning to the 11:00 am hour as well.

I think I'm gonna hurl.

I was recording TNG off SPIKE and they're near the end of the 6th season.

A little more over a month and I'd have had them all.

Oh well...

Maybe it'll come back later and air in some limited format, like DS9 has been doing (three times a week). Having DS9 air more often will be good too. (I've been recording that as well.)

Whoa.

Is it snowing in hell?

DS9 not getting shafted?

That seriously sucks about TNG, though. I've got the DS9 DVDs. I don't have TNG DVDs, though.

Bastards.

Funny how the scheduling change takes place right after the 20th anniversary. Not that it means anything but still quite pecular.

More news:

A search of Spike TVs website shows that they're adding another hour of Voyager starting the same day that they stop showing TNG. The Trek schedule is:

01:00a - Voyager
02:00a - Deep Space Nine
11:00a - Deep Space Nine
04:00p - Voyager
05:00p - Voyager
06:00p - Voyager

I've also noticed there's a new single box release of the entire series.

I'm wondering if that could have anything to do with it.

Oh good, I get home from work around 5:30 so I can catch a full hour of VOY this way.

How nice for you.

Of course, in the other thread you said you didn't CARE about TNG being pulled or, apparently, about those who enjoy watching THAT.

You have what you like and isn't that just NIFTY!

^ Yes, it does work out nicely for me. I'm not ashamed of it.

And how's about not caring if others can no longer see the show THEY like? How's that one sit with'ya?
