Nah, I remember thinking that was a fun episode--I'm not sure why everyone has a bug up their collective butt about it.

Jesus, it's been so long since I watched this season that I hardly know any of these episodes by name! I had to browse IMDB just to refresh my memory. This really was a pretty crappy season, wasn't it?

Don't know why everyone seems to hate this episode so much.

I ahted this episode too its in my bottom 10 for the entire 7 year run. I didn't like this episode because it was very boring and there was no action to it, it was great in consept. It showed Picard being scientist/explorer like which really is who he is underneath the red command unifourm. However it was strictly a Picard/Data episode and the rest of the cast wasn't needed at all. This episode moved slowly and was sluggish. It was cool because of its strange culture and mythology aspect which I love myself but this was not entertaining, it was like watching a PBS brodcast of paint drying. I think another reason i give this episode so much gruff is because its a season7 episode (this is where hard, deep, action packed and breath taking episodes should be in full force because its the end) If this was a season 1 episode I would give it a better review.
