Sooooo, Star Trek: Coda's Moments Asunder revealed that the bit of future info Taurik saw was
a Borg cube at the edge of the Raqilan system in the late 25th century - after the Borg had been snuffed out by the Federation and their Caeliar lackeys in Star Trek: Destiny. This led Taurik/the DTI to conclude that the timeship appeared from the future of a different timeline.

I guess the cube couldn't just have crossed over into the 2470s primary universe from, let's say 2470s STO timeline?

All that hubbub for that information? :)

I kinda expected something groundbreaking, like information on the Federation directly.

In the Strange New Worlds anthology, the Federation is fighting the Second Romulan War around this time, and the Guardian of Forever is a major battleground.

How is 'Odyssean Pass' supposed to be pronounced, anyway?

ə-DIH-see-ən like 'Odysseus'
or
AH-də-see-ən like 'odyssey'?

That's basically what happened, actually. The cube was from a future in a different timeline, not the First Splinterverse, and its appearance created a paradox that the Big Bads would be able to use to get a foot in the door.
