So they are finally remastering them? I never heard about that. Who's doing it, Giles Martin?
The CD mixes we have now were done in 1986 and 1987. Sonic technology is vastly improved now. It's been rumored for a while that Apple was looking at remastering the catalog; the other major bands of the era have been remastered, and the Beatles hadn't been. From what I understand, the work was done in 2004 and 2005, and it's taken a while to get all the necessary approvals from the Beatles and widows. (Also, McCartney's divorce played a role.) According to MOJO, the remasters are due sometime in 2009.

Once and Again (seasons 3 and 4)
The Wonder Years
Jeremiah (season 2--though, I was able to get it on itunes)
Malcom in the Middle (after season 1)
John Doe
7 Days
Batman (Adam West version)

Now and Again.

I want that show on DVD more than anything, but thanks to music copyright issues it probably won't happen. :scream:

Dark Skies would be good, too. But not as good as N&A.

Most times the music is the problem with the DVD releases. As far as I've heard, before TV on DVD was believed to be a huge deal, TV producers didn't bother with securing lasting rights to the music they used. That was one of the reasons Witchblade took so long to get on DVD, They changed all the music in the entire series for the DVD saves for the pilot episode.

While it's more than awesome for me to have one of my favorite series' on DVD, most of it just seems so wrong without all the proper music.

You can always check:

tvshowsondvd.com

To see if something is on DVD. Donm't rely on stores.

Ed. It's one of my favorite tv shows. I don't know if it's the music rights or something to do with Viacom/Paramount messing around.

Agreed on this, it'd be nice to see "Ed" around a bit more.
Channel 4 have the rights to it in the UK and show it on occasion, which is nice, but I'd buy a DVD if I could. Amazon has one of its placeholder pages up for it, here, but that doesn't always mean anything.

no, i mean i CAN'T ORDER THINGS ONLINE, i go overboard, last time i had an amazon account, i bought a $3,500 tokyo-mauri airsoft minigun

Parker Lewis Can´t Loose - late 80´s, early 90ś series that was a some what riff on Ferris Bueller. My friends and I still use quotes from the show to this day. Funniest thing on TV at the time.

its easier to just not do it (i get drunk every blue moon, go on amazon and buy any random cool thing)
