Time Travel? Time to move this forum under SF/f?

Title says it all. This show is officially Science Fiction now. Time to move the entire forum?

The problem with moving the forum is that whoever turned the Frozen Donkey wheel would never be able to come back. Even worse, those who remained would be left with a forum where all the posts in a thread are out of order.

Seriously though, if the smoke monster and "Flashes Before Your Eyes" weren't enough to get this forum moved then I don't think it's going anywhere.

Nah. Then a bunch of people will leave the forum. And we'll spend the next couple of years trying to get them back to the forum to set the time line right.

Yeah, it's better hidden as a sub-forum. That way no one can find us. Especially that Widmore poster or one of his cronies.

It would be kinda neat if the forum shifted to be under different forums once in a while.

I'm sure I remember browsing the old pre-VB forum once when I saw a LOST forum appear in sf/f for a few minutes until it disappeared in a flash of light...

Those tiny fire-arrows hurt...

I'm still hoping this whole time travel thing will be dropped within a few episodes.

What is it with the writers of my favourite shows making stupid decisions and fraking things up ? I'm looking at you Tim Kring!

While I agree that Lost should definitely be in the SciFi forum, it's just been where it is for so long, it seems like a lot of hassle for ultimately nothing.

I've been bitching about this since S1! :p

So far, no dice. The mods are just being mean to me personally because they envy my dazzlingly acrobatic antennae. :)

I'm still not convinced. Maybe when the aliens show up.
How about when the Giant Space Turtle swallows the island whole?

...

OMIGOD! THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!

Lindelof and Cuse are going to give everyone superpowers and then take them away and give them back arbitrarily!

Here's what everyone gets:

Sawyer - mind control
Juliet - energy blasts
Miles - superpower sponge/Peter Petrelli-like general irritant
Locke - uses his bowie knife to open brains and "read" powers
Daniel - ability to talkreallyfast
Charlotte - superbitchery
Sayid - superkickassery (wait, he already has that one)
Jack - emo-man

But really...don't cross the streams!

While I like the idea of giving Charlotte "superbitchery", you really shouldn't be giving these people ideas.

Yeah...I don't think anyone disputes that Lost is a sci-fi now ( though not very hard) but there's no need to lump it with the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Forum. If it ain't broke right?

That's essentially Spiff's argument (that and he doesn't want more work ;)).

To be fair, it's been sci-fi from the beginning, it just wasn't as readily apparent as it is currently. I mean in Season 1 we have dead people walking around, "magical" smoke monsters, polar bears on tropical islands among many other things.....

Well sure. After all, what sense would it make to move a Sci-Fi show to the Sci-Fi forum??

Honestly it doesn't really matter one way or the other, I just think it's a bit silly to not have an obviously through and through sci-fi show like lost, not in the "sci-fi" forum.

It'd be like having the Deep Space 9 forum under the Stargate Forums. Sure, people could eventually find it there and it'd be ok, it just wouldn't make any sense.
