I voted will be seeing it and will be a blockbuster, though an option for I don't know if it will be a success or not would have been good.

I very rarely go out to the movies, in fact this will be the first movie I go to since I took my wife to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Yeah, it's been that long. It will be the first Star Trek movie I go out to see since First Contact.

The IMAX near me only shows education stuff.

Will it be a financial success ? I tend to think yes, but truly,deep down ? I have no idea.None...
And I don't care much at this point either.

My first priority is to go, see and hopefully enjoy and love the movie.

I'm definitely going, and due to family and friends only being able to see it at different times, I'll be there multiple times. And I will see it at least once in IMAX.

I'll be seeing it on May 9th, when it opens here in Taiwan.

It'll most likely be the most exciting and most profitable Star Trek movie ever.
As a long time fan...I'm waiting for a all those friends that when they think of Trek, they think of me, to be calling me after they see it and tell me I was right!

I think this movie will be huge. It's got the name recognition and vague familiarity that moviegoers crave, yet it's got an air of "new and improved", and perhaps even mystery, about it. I predict lots of "repeat business". This may be the first movie in more than a decade that I'll pay twice to see in the theater.

My wife hates Star Trek and she's anxious to see this movie, just based on the TV spots.

I cannot WAIT to see this movie! I am kicking myself for having missed the world premier here in Austin! I plan to see it at least two or three times, and I think it will be the blockbuster hit of the summer season.

I'll be seeing it. I plan on seeing it in IMAX. Some friends want to see it. My mom wants me to take her to see it. So I'll be seeing it at least twice in the theatre. I saw Watchmen three times, why not Star Trek?

I think it will be a success. The question to me is how much business is taken away by Terminator the next week?

I wouldn't say that I'm sure it'll be a success, partly because of my native pessimism and partly because no one knows for sure if the brand can be rehabilitated in regards to the larger audience. Paramount has certainly done everything it can to blow the dust off, though.

I was checking online, the BOW TIE Cinema in my city, and they have changed the times on the evening of Thursday the 7th...

The other day they only had 7pm and 10pm shows listed, now they have three times listed... 7PM, 9:30PM and 12:01AM on the 8th...

Wow, they must expect a lot of people to show up.

I'll be there on the Friday and again the next week when I'm in Toronto for training, 'cause they've got an IMAX theater there.

Im guessing that it will be a success, yeah. It looks fresh, new and bold.


However everyone i talk to about it just goes "Pfft" when i mention it, so maybe elsewhere it will perform well, but not anything like Dark Knight, it wont be a show stopper.

For us fans it will be, it will the telling of true fans and sceptics alike.

We're the biggest dollar payers in this guys, so dont screw this up or we wont get anymore of em. Got it?


Were travelling back from holliday on the 8th, so ill probably see it on the 9th or tenth, or maybe that morning before we leave.

Ill be going for sure, this is the only time in my life that i will be there without fail other than my damn own funeral.

I took the whole weekend off work so I could drive home and see it with my family. And judging by the fact that all my friends (not Trek fans) want to see it, I think it will do very well.
