Time Of The Doctor Trailer!

Or is the clip we heard taken out of context? Could the Dalek be saying something like 'the Doctor is regenerating the mcguffin/weapon/power source?' Obviously the Doctor will regenerate in this episode but I wonder if this is just a clever bit of misdirection?

if the spoilers that surfaced a little while back are true then yes this could be a nice little misdirection and ties in with The Doctor's line about if they want his life they have to come and take it

Time and the Rani feels far more like a post-regeneration story for Seven than a final story for Six. Indeed, the pre-titles regeneration is reminiscent of the pre-title regeneration in Catrovalva.

But my point was that Colin Baker didn't get any kind of a sendoff story to commemorate his departure. He was just suddenly gone.
Yeah, that is sadly true. Still rooting for an actual regeneration story for him, done by Big Finish.

How? We did see the regeneration and the cause of it on screen?

Yeah, there's no way to get a Colin Baker-centric regeneration story out of "Uh-oh, something's locked onto the TARDIS! It's pulling us in! Ow!" (Hits head really hard and regenerates.) That's pretty much the entire story right there.

I stand corrected. I guess the opening of "Time and the Rani" was vague enough that there could've been another explanation for his regeneration.

I noticed in one of the clips that Clara introduces the Doctor to her family as her boyfriend.
Probably because that's the easiest way to describe to her family who this guy she's been spending all this time with, and whose motorcycle she drives. And probably because in her mind, it's true. And I also think that the Doctor has feelings for her too, as has been hinted at throughout her run on the show. One of the reasons the regeneration could be really sad/weird for Clara.
