I know all these threads are belong to Mvrojo, but I just saw it on Showbizdata:

Haha...don't worry about it.

Nice little increase for Trek. $200 million is a definite on Friday. If these numbers hold, it will be bigger than Iron Man's comparable Thursday ($1.82 million).

Worldwide box office is now at $289.8 million. This weekend will put it over $300 million.

Box Office Guru's predictions for this weekend:

1. Up - $62 million
2. Night at the Museum 2 - $30 million (-45%)
3. Drag Me to Hell - $24 million
4. Terminator Salvation - $17 million (-60%)
5. Star Trek - $14 million (-40%)
6. Angels & Demons - $12 million (-45%)

I keep thinking TS is going to do better...

I saw it and didn't like it, but I just expected it to do better.

Nero set up us the drill. Move Jellyfish for great justice. ;)

We are headed to viewing #11 on Saturday. I get a chill thinking about it leaving the theater and without DVD.

Go Trek! Woohoo!

Fourth time for me this Saturday with my 9 year-old stepson. Please, no one tell me that he's too young to see the movie. He's my excuse for going again!

Definitely not. There's nothing scary or too sexual.

If the estimates hold, Trek increased its take over Wednesday's. Nice. $200M here we come! I don't think I'll get to see it this weekend, but hopefully next week I can slip in my third viewing.

Star Trek opens in Japan this weekend and then in Mexico on the 5th of June. That'll give the international numbers (which currently stand at just over $93 million) a boost.

Do Mexicans like Star Trek? Some of the ones I know from my novela board really do. Especially Khan.

Along with my wife (age?), I took my 6 and 9 year-old daughters the first time. There were quite a few kids their age at that Saturday night opening showing.
I did assure them before hand that the entire movie wouldn't be as intense as the first fifteen minutes or so were going to be.
