Thunderstorm, stuck indoors

Sounds like we've got some thunderstorms heading in tonight and all day tomorrow.

I grew up in a tropical region in another country, and I hated and feared lightning storms as a kid. I'd see these bright flashes of electrical bolts in the sky followed instantaneously by loud, earth-shattering booms. I can stand rain and even like rainy nights, but I hate thunderstorms.

You really don't understand basic weather do you?

It's a thunderstorm, it's not like it's a hurricane, it will be over within a few hours tops.

that didnt happen here in the first weekend of may...


and more recently it didnt happen in oklahoma..

actually some of these weather systems are starting to look like inland hurricanes.
the wind isnt as bad but the rain levels are nasty.
and we really had two weekends of heavy bands of rain.

the first weekend was just a starter course for the tremendous amount of rain we got in the first weekend of may.

right now we are in a cylcle of very hot above average days and sudden pop up thunderstorms.
when we do have a front come through the cool down lasts about an hour.

maybe if you ate the burrito and went out side and started farting like mad it might enrage the weather gods into making it rain.

Usually on most hot summer days when it is too hot to be outside, I play this.
