Thoughts on Ghosted?

Very conflicted so far on this show. In some ways the X Files version of The Orville, as of the second episode it combines incredible casting with terrible writing. I want to like the show because the main actors are so awesome but the first two episodes are just so poorly written I can't.

You basically said how I feel about the show ,except I have only seen the first episode right now. I think I would compare more to "Worlds End" though with Simon Pegg than your examples. One thing I also noticed is it felt really rushed. I think they must have been kidnapped and starting working with the secret agency in a span of 5 minutes.

Fox is also showing it out of order. The second episode was actually the fourth episode. It's not really a gut buster of a comedy. it's more of a chuckle buster.

I have only seen the first episode, DVR'd the second. It's entertaining.. I don't hate it, don't love it.. like it OK so far.

I've only seen the first one so far, but it is different and a little better than I thought it would be.

It's not amazing, but I enjoyed the first couple episodes. As of now, I'll watch it as long as it's on, but I won't miss it if it's canceled.

Great cast full of funny and interesting people being forced to read aggressively unfunny dialogue and wander through lazy plots. Total waste of talent.

I bought the season pass on VUDU. The trailer for the show made it look better than almost everything else out on television these days. The first episode was meh though. As said above, great actors. The writing, not so much. I will probably watch the second episode tonight, or tomorrow evening at the latest.

I may keep checking in on it. The thing about the show is, even though the first two episodes sucked, the show has Adam Scott and Craig Robinson. As long as it has Adam Scott and Craig Robinson they're one writing staff hire away from having an amazing show.
