I think I must be the only person who counts this as one of their favorite episodes. I love stories about crazy cult leaders; I'm always interested in what motivates them, and why people choose to follow them. I'd love to see an origin story for Dr. Sevrin - how he became mentally unbalanced, and how he became ill.

He used to call himself Julian Clegg and was the presenter on Most Haunted's live specials a few years back!

IDK - I always laugh that in the original TOS aired version - their ship is a redressed Tholian ship model:

But in the TOS remastered version, it kind of looks like a take on a 1960ies era VW bus:

Even if it was the Tholian ship redressed in the episode, it's still miles better than the revised version which looks like an intergalactic bus!!!

Well maybe...it does seem like some of them had them here in the sixties and seventies! I would rather have seen a better looking version though than that blob with lights!
