Oh?! As soon as I saw it I was like *crap* and just closed out of the link. One shouldn't use that as a handle, bad choice when reporting on comic films of a Marvel nature.

Well, Hemsworth looks awesome as Thor.

And yeah, that definitely appears to be an image from the confrontation with Odin that we saw bits of in the trailer.

What I noticed after a few seconds was the tag line attached to the figures.

THOR: The Mighty Avenger

Obviously, to comic fans anyway, is that his own title was for decades known as The Mighty Thor. However, from a marketing standpoint I can see how having a tagline with Thor on the toy shelves might help acclimate people to the First Avenger tag which IS part of the movie title for Captain America. Keep getting that AVENGER name out there. A double dose of sly acclimation perhaps?

I don't think there is anything sly about the intent. The Cap poster has the word Avenger right on the middle across it. Clearly Marvel Studios is already starting up Avengers hype.

what i noticed was Thor is Thor and Loki is Loki, yet Odin is 'Marvel's Odin'. WTF?
