Thor: Ragnarok

Really starting to like the short haired look.

Sorry guys, that woman reach that place for those two reasons, not for her talent (non-existent). After her photo scandal, things look very clear to me. And right now, what I most desire in the world is to find a woman who understands me, whom I would come to love for who she is, not just her looks.

Don't twist my words. Those are the reasons a realistic person would see to understand how that woman got there. You think Jaimie Alexander got her role for being an excellent actress? Cate Blanchett is sure to be arrogant, but at least he has a remarkable talent when it comes to acting.
You can criticize her acting talents if you want.
You have your right to your opinion about that.
Reducing her to her breasts and claiming those are her only qualities a man could like about her is insulting to women AND non misogynistic men!

I don't know, she looked pretty proud of her attributes to take photos of them, like so many other narcissists females (an non-females) these days. Objectively, she's a pretty woman, it's a matter of preference (she's not my type). But, it would be hypocritical for a man not to admit the first thing that crosses his mind when seeing her are her breasts' size...

I told you once to knock this shit off. Now you've got an infraction for trolling.

After that nonsense and another idiot for my ignore list...

Back to the movie ;) Is this for sure the last Thor movie? Do we think Chris might hang about longer.

Last one before Infinity Wars, we might see another one in Phase 4 if they want to follow the originals after that.

It will almost certainly come down to how much money Hemsworth wants. His deal is up after the Infinity War movies so Marvel will have to negotiate a new contract with him.

Very good trailer. But... as cute as the moment was and I get Thor is supposed to be a bit "dim" but seeing Hulk and shouting "We work together!" is sort-of silly. Funny, but silly.

It's not like he and Banner have neighboring cubicles in the same office block and they just ran into each other at the grocery store, they're "soldiers" who fight battles together and have done so.... Twice.

For now, it appears to be the last Thor film, just as Iron Man 3 is believed to be that character's last (Downey, Jr's ever-rising pay being one of the reasons). Personally, I would love to see more Captain America movies, as he is one of few characters who shines in both solo and group concepts--pretty much the Batman of the Marvel universe.

Yeah the start of Ultron suggests they've been taking out Hydra bases for a while. Obviously they've probably not had any adventures together since then.

I think there's some question about more CA movies too. I don't know if it's still the case, but I know around the time either Winter Soldier or Civil War came out, Chris Evans had decided to step away from acting gigs other than his Cap movies, and focus on his new directing career. I'm not sure if that's still the case, but if it is I could see him passing on more Captain America jobs to once his contract is up.

Evans made noise about that a few years ago but changed his tune when he started getting bigger paychecks for Age of Ultron and Civil War (he got like $150,000 for The First Avenger, The Avengers and Winter Soldier).

He also changed his tune when his directorial debut, Before We Go, went over about as well as a loud, wet fart in the middle of church.

Well, with the end of Civil War kinda implying that he's no longer Captain America, going as far as actually leaving his shield behind, I wouldn't be surprised if Steve Rogers Captain America movies are done. Perhaps, as with Tony, Steve will become a 'guest character' of sorts. Someone else will become the new Cap, and Steve will help out when they really need him?

Ok, thanks for the update. I hadn't heard much about him either way since all those stories started circulating so I wasn't sure what his situation was now.

Marvel and Kevin Feige have been very quiet about Phase 4 plans. There's likely to be a Dr Strange sequel and a GOTG3, but beyond that, who knows.

However, if Marvel does lose both Chris Evans and RDJ, and if Ragnarok is a hit, then it's not too hard to imagine them wanting to bring Thor and Loki back yet again, in part just to keep some continuity from the pre-Avengers days.

Guardians 3 is already confirmed, though Gunn isn't sure he wants to do it. The only other confirmed films right now are Captain Marvel (which is planned to hit before Infinity War 2), a Spider-Man Homecoming sequel and:

Wouldn't Ant Man feature prominently in Phase 4 plans?

Ant-Man and the Wasp.

My best guess is that Stark and Rogers bite it in one of the Infinity War movies, and we see Rhodes and Falcon (Christ, he's so under-developed I don't even remember the character's actual name) take over their mantles. Even if Marvel's gotten less stingy over the years, they aren't going to keep paying Robert Downey, Jr., $50 million plus back-end participation per movie.

Sebastian Stan apparently signed a nine-picture deal with Marvel way back when this whole thing started, so if Rogers buys it in one of the Infinity War movies (yeah, yeah, I know only one of them is actually called Infinity War now), it's possible that Bucky Barnes might take over for him, as he briefly did in the comics.
