You're right. Guardians is even better than Star Wars!

*runs like hell*

Eh, it's the only Major Space Opera series in recent history to do spectacularly well at the movies that wasn't part of the big franchises (Wars and Trek). It's earning its place.

Just saw it recently. Definitely a major improvement over the crap the MCU has been churning out as of late. Thor and Hulk work very well together.

How is it that someone like Doctor Strange, who has limited experience with magic, can treat a more experienced magic practitioner like Loki as some kind of toy monkey? I mean . . . Loki managed to cast a spell on Odin of all people.

Are we sure his experience is that limited? There's no way of knowing how much time he spent in that time loop with Dormammu. It could have been centuries or even longer.

Surprise?

Dr Strange has an Infinity Stone, which is beyond anything Loki has. And keep in mind Odin was getting on in his years, making it believable Loki could get the drop on him and befuddle him.

It's not harder to believe than Batman lasting 1 second against Superman.

At the time, Loki wasn't really focusing on Dr. Strange or Earth, he was working with Thor to defeat Hela and save Asgard (and his own ass). Plus, if he has become the Earth's Sorcerer Supreme by this time, yes, his command of magik would be formidable and he could easily be on par with a 'god' like Loki. But again, Earth (and it's Sorcerer weren't Loki's prime focus at the time.)

I loved this film. Having watch Avengers Infinity War however

It felt like the heroic efforts to save Asgard’s people was pointless knowing they pretty much get slaughtered hours later. What happened to Korg and Valkyrie?

They were probably among the survivors, since Thor said Thanos killed only half of them. Feige said that Korg would be in later films.

So why did the spoiler button? Dam and blast.

But any way, Dr Strange can out out magic Loki, despite the lack of experience, because he’s very good at being a wizard. It’s in his gift.
