Thor Cameo In Iron Man 2?

The flash of the camera and the bars in the foreground kind of prevent the guy's face from bein' seen at all.

What good is an easter egg ya can't find?

I do kinda hope he speaks some good ol "Olde Englishe" like the comics Thor did, but in reality he's Nordic - Norwegian. He'd talk like a Minnasotian or something.

"Yah, I amaThor Odinson... mind if I pound that Lutefisk with my hammer?"

Although seriously this movie is going to kick so many kinds of ass, its going to rewrite that comic book movie book. You've got a possible Thor cameo... Tony Stark with not one but possibly THREE hot red heads. You've got at least a couple of new suits of armor, you've got WAR FREAKIN' MACHINE! And you've got AC/DC providing some of the soundtrack.

At least now we have some context for that scene in the trailer where he's walking through that dark corridor looking all badass. Is it me or was Thorlief smiling when he got his mugshot taken?

although interestingly, Loeb brought it into Ultimates. Ultimate Thor spoke normally (aside from a few bits in Ultimate Secret), then in Ultimates 3 he started all the thee and thou'ing.

fuckin' Loeb.

Cartoon adaptations have him talk like that too. It's kind of weird that they don't do the same with the other Asgardians: In "Super-Hero Squad" Thor and Odin talk old English, but Valkyrie doesn't (she has some "Noble" tone while still having an american accent) and Enchantress has a British accent (though earlier she had a pseudo-Transylvanian one).

I'm not too crazy about the Ultimates version of Thor. Frankly, I miss the original Don Blake alter ego, and the idea Odin made Thor a lame mortal doctor to teach him humility.

As for Iron Man 2, whoa! I can't get enough of the snippets of visuals that are leaking out. I enjoyed the first one quite a bit, and was impressed with how they crammed 40+ years of changes to the character into two hours (grey armor to the more familiar red-and-gold version, arms maker to "peacenik", secret identity to it being publicly revealed Stark is Iron Man).

BTW, it looks like at the end of the trailer, Iron Man and War Machine are facing an army of Armored Men. I understand Justin Hammer is in the new movie and plays a part in stealing the armor tech, reminiscent of the Armor Wars storyline several years ago in the comic book.

I have to admit the new take on Hammer is pretty cool, I mean in the comics he was always this slimy bad guy behind the scenes who hired guys like the Beetle, Whiplash, Blizzard, and other goofy named and goofy looking guys. I'm wondering if one of those "armored guys" would be "the Beatle." I would crap myself if I heard "Abner Jenkins". Or even... the guy who eventually became Carl Walker who was Force one of Hammer's flunkies.

I mean there is soooo much Bob Layton era stuff they could fit into this movie...
