Thor 2 -Movie Discussion, News, Interviews, Pics till release 2013

I wouldn't expect them to do crazy numbers, but I'd be surprised if the upcoming Thor and Cap films didn't enjoy a bit of a bump from the previous films after their exposure in The Avengers.
 
One thing we can count on is that Thor 2 will do great overseas as always, the overseas audience really love their Epic Fantasy movies.
 
Yup. I think it's pretty certain that Thor 2 and CA 2 will do better than their originals, but not as well as Iron Man 3.
 
Sounds like a good idea to me. I really like Doyle's score from Thor. There's a sweep and a majesty to it that really fits the story well.
 
The first issue of the Thor: The Dark World Prelude came out this week. As expected, the story was mostly a connect-the-dots between the first movie and Avengers, but there were a few things of note.

Issue 1 introduces the Badoon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reveals that the destruction of the Bifrost has had reprecussions throughout the cosmos. I'm sure that the second issue will be more of a build up to T:TDW.
 
Well, now that I know Loki will be back, I will be there.

I quite enjoyed Loki in the first Thor movie and in The Avengers.
 
I finally found a quote on wikipedia where Jaime Alexander explained exactly how she hurt herself.
About the injury, she said, "It was raining, it was dark outside, it was like 5 in the morning — and I went down a metal staircase and slipped and slipped a disc in my thoracic spine and chipped 11 of my vertebrae. I knocked my left shoulder out of place and tore my rhomboid on my right side... It took me out of filming for a month"

That sounds very painful for Jaime Alexander.

I'm just glad she didn't get hurt even worse! :eek:
