Well, I used to laugh at people that got hurt shovelling until February. How could they be so unlucky/careless/etc? That was unitl this winter and it looks like I blew out a tendon in my left arm shovelling. That makes me one of them. I'm supposed to start PT on Monday. Joy. From now on I'll warm up first, for the rest of this snow year I lift the shovel end with my right arm. I was trying to "pitch" the snow out away from the driveway because there was no where else to put it and when I pitched that snow it felt like I was hit with a bullet in my upper arm. That was a month ago and I finally went to the doctor and hence the PT. I attached a few photos for grins and giggles. Getting older definately has its drawbacks.
