Was just horrible. Voyager wasnt very good but compared to this show Voyager deserves Emmy awards.

Enterprise was a major failure, characters sucked, plots sucked, and was just totally boring.

Scripts terrible, no intensity, just failed in every way imaginable.

I could have created a better show than Star Trek Enterprise, it was a complete and utter travesty.

The show's been off the air for seven years, and only now you've decided to post a pointless hate thread about it? I didn't like the show either, but I'm, like, so over it by now.

Yes yes, let the anger flow through you.

I have to disagree with you. I loved Enterprise.

I also look forward to seeing your new show when it debuts! Be sure to let us all know when to look forward to this! :)

I wouldn't mind it if you ruthlessly teared the show apart but I do not see any analysis here, only whining and an overblown ego.

((((((((BRRRRAAAAAAAPPPPPPP))))))))

Oh....excuse me, this post gave me indigestion. :alienblush:

Would you mind providing some details and examples to debate about, or was this simply a bashing post, for the pure and simple pleasure of being negative with no substance?

I didn't have an overly enthusiastic impression of S1 and S2 at first either, but, after recently watching the show all the way through, letting go of my preconceptions, I quite enjoyed it. I've always had an appreciation for S3 and S4, though.

ENT like all ST shows has it's strengths and weakness, I found it greatly improved in the later 2 seasons, with S4 it started to become the show it should have been from far earlier.

Aside from a few episodes perhaps S2 was weaker than S1, but the recent Trek shows from TNG onwards haven't had very strong opening seasons. S1 of TNG for example is almost dire.

I know some don't like the opening Theme song which is fine, it never really bothered me, though I wish they had kept the original version from S1-2 than the remix for S3-4. But that is personal preference.

Though you'll find most people on here are happy to debate about specfics you didn't like about certain episodes and characters.

Not all the Characters were bad, but some like Mayweather were defiantly underdevopled. At times it seemed as if Reed was the only sane person onboard.

Children must play. If the poster was a true Star Trek fan, that person would realize it's ALL cannon. Deal with it. A TRUE Star Trek fan would only go "hhmmmm, so THAT'S what went on....

NOT you perception of what it should be.

I quit Enterprise about halfway through season two. I just got tired of it, as the show seemed to be two dimentional and going no where.

Recently I watched it all again... season 3's story arc showed promise, but really was dragged out too much. Season 4(with the big exceptions of the pilot and finale) was actually pretty good. Apparently Berman and Braga loosened the leash and let the writers do their thing there, which produced some quality episodes.

Really those two were the problem with Enterprise. Berman's obsession with cliche time travel episodes not only repeatedly showed it's face in Enterprise but became a major plot point. Braga once said in an interview that he didn't care much for continuity and well... it showed. This is just laziness as a good many of their mistakes could have been caught by an editor even passingly familiar with the Trek universe.

Really if there's ever a Trek series, they just need to find the biggest nerd out there as a consultant to point out glaringly obvious errors. Not sure if that would have been enough to save Enterprise, the characters really were just two dimentional for the most part, but it would have helped.

Since we already have a thread or three available for people to discuss what they liked and disliked about Enterprise, I am locking this one. Please remember that discussion and civil debate are encouraged, but trolling is not permitted.
