This man is evil and must die! But first...

We're going to impose a curse on him that means that if the right set of circumstances occur regarding his body, artifacts concerning is life or death come into play, or any other set of events happen just right he'll come back to life and try and to take over the world. He'll also be unstopable.

Ummm... What?

What is with this movie staple? If a man is evil and is being killed for it why give him the potential power to achieve the greatest, evil, acomplishment?!

I remember thinking the same thing about The Mummy. Nobody ever said movies had to make sense though.

I'm guessing (just guessing, mind you) that those who imposed such curses thought that the agony endured by said "evil villain" as a result of the curse outweighed the slim chance of his resurrection.

Plus, said resurrections usually occur thousands of years later. Because they'd be long dead, they prolly didn't give a shit.

"We shall trap the demon in a book!"

"Great. So what do we do with the book once he's in there?"

"I dunno, donate it to a children's library or something."

guarentee if a guy was unkillable with 'any weapon forged by man' that you can kill him a modern one, like say, an anti-tank rocket or a few thousand rounds of ammo.
