That's kind of how I was last year. I remember waking up super early and going to the gym.

Today I didn't even get home until 7am, so I spent my entire day sleeping. No hangover, though. Just tired.

New Year's Day tends to be a write-off for me virtue of being uneventful. I had a few too many drinks last night, though, which is unusual for me on New Year's Eve, and had breakfast at about 3:30 in the afternoon.

I think I've only had one New Year's with a hangover, I normally avoid the party scene if possible. I actually spent this New Year's Eve by myself playing video games, as my boyfriend was having a guy's night out sort of thing. I spent today cleaning and doing laundry.

Today didn't feel like New Years day to me. Yeah last night we all celebrated, but when I think of New Years day I think of things like the Rose Parade, the Rose Bowl game, and today there wasn't any of that. It was just a typical Sunday for the most part. I think tomorrow will feel more like New Years day than today did.
