This is f-ing weird aka Trying to watch Conan on TBS

So here I sit, it is now 11:20 where I live. I turned on TBS 20 minutes ago expecting to watch Conan, and instead I have now watched 20 minutes of commercials. Some of them even repeating.

What the hell!? It seems every now and then they try to go to the program, but it's just a blank screen and then goes to more commercials...

Ok, while I was posting this Conan finally came on, didn't start at the beginning, it was like it returned from commercial break 20 minutes into the show. This is the oddest thing I have ever witnessed, I've never seen anything like this happen before. 20 minutes of commercials, that was freaking weird.

Edit: The weirdness continues. In the middle of the Tracy Morgan interview, the show abruptly cut to a commercial, then when it returned it is now showing the same footage I just saw five minutes ago.

Someone at TBS is fucking up big time.

I suspect someone has cocked up the programming of the automated scheduling, or the computer is on the fritz. I doubt that there's a human being directly in charge every minute of the day. Got to keep the costs down and the stockholders happy.

Dude, last night's Conan was intense.

First, Tracy Morgan was off his rockers as usual (it was hilarious, I don't think Conan was able to squeeze in an entire sentence!) then Charline Yi was on and she's pretty random as well. I had to drink a glass of water and lie down afterwards. It was a hoot.

I hope you get your commercials-thing sorted out. My PVR craps out all the time, especially the last 5 mins of stuff on HBO.

Anyway, TeamCoCo.com should have last night's show up shortly anyway, if not already. You could hit it up over there.

...

EDIT: Oh, he talked about it tonight! And showed a bit of the "messed up" west coast version.
Looks like chili was the culprit!

I suspect that after 20 minutes of watching commercials you should have changed the channel. ;)

Well I was sitting on the computer, so it wasn't a big deal. In fact I was so engrossed in what I was doing online (I usually am) that it took me a while to realize it was just an endless loop of commercials.
