Well, we already saw an image a while back of the makeup, so what it suggests is that maybe the character is a series regular as opposed to a guest - good news if so - who doesn't love Andorians?

Dunno if it's articulated this time looking at it.

The more we find out about the Andorians, the better! Would love to see what a profound effect they have on the Federation.

This is great news, but I think the thing I am looking most forward to knowing is how the Klingons will actually finally look:

We still don't really know what is going on there, aside from the leaked image from a while back, which might not event depict mainstream Klingons.

The Andorians were Star Trek Enterprise's worthwhile contribution to the Trek coterie of aliens, much as TNG enlarged the Klingons and DS9 the Ferengi.

Are those ears or horns?

A CGI character perhaps?

Why is his/her delta badge at an angle? Is it due to how the alien is standing?

Perhaps a large Caitian? Cats come in all shapes and sizes!

Is it an alien or just a really fat human who is having a bad hair day?

That actually comes from the novels first, which have done a ton of development for the Andorians. There've been several books devoted to them, and there was an Andorian related storyarc the weaved in and out of the books for over a decade.

Blue coloring is usually spray painted, the base color is whatever color the base makeup appliance or skin color is.

I love it how Property Masters build their own cabinets out of spare lumber, miscellaneous hardware, and spray paint.

I suppose if they are able to build props for sets, they are able to build a cabinet to store their stuff.
