THIRD BASE - Teen sci fi drama

Hey guys

I've previously worked on the Star Trek fanfilm Intrepid, doing a bit of lighting and editing.

My latest project is a sci fi web drama titled 'THIRD BASE'. It follows a group of teens are they become marooned on Mars.

I've written and directed a 60 second trailer, which is competing as part of the Movie Extra WebFest.

If you've got a minute to spare - please check out the trailer and vote for the project. We're competing to win a $100k production budget to produce a full season

Thanks guys. Yep - there's one or two patented lens flares in the trailer too :)

Did you get a chance to take a look at it?
 
Watched the trailer, interesting premise. I'd have to see the pilot to pass judgement.

Do me a favor. Next time, either link to the pictures or make them a bit smaller. They're too big and cause problems in trying to view them. Thanks.
 
Bloody hell! Bulls eye on the name, mate!

This looks really interesting. Also, while the trailer isnt exactly high res, the CGI looks pretty darn good too.
 
Thanks to everyone for your feedback - and sorry if any of you had trouble viewing the large images. (T'Bonz - I can swap these for lower res ones, but can't seem to edit my original post?)

I'm very excited to announce that the show has been shortlisted and is now one of the finalists! So now stands a 1 in 15 chance of going ahead to become a full webseries. Thank you all for your support so far.

I'm trying my best to spread the word about the show online - if any of you guys have any ideas on other sci fi blogs that might be interested in covering Third Base - please let me know. Suggestions very much welcome!
 
I'd like to take a second to urge people to take the time to vote for this. Ric is a friend, who donated an awful lot of his own time and effort to helping us out on Intrepid. But that's beside the point. Third Base is by far the best project in the competition (IMO), and deserves to win. :)

It's currently dropped to second place, so come on folks, take a little time and help Ric out. I know he'd appreciate it. And besides, we'll all get some neat new SF goodness out of it. It's a win-win situation. :)
 
Seen the trailer, and it looks very good! Looking forward to being able to see the entire thing.
