I recently watched a video that taught me how to replace the lid switch in my washer. It ended up taking me 10 minutes and cost me a whopping $7.50, which is a heck of a lot less than I would have spent calling in a repairman or, as my wife suggested, just buying a new washer.
I've picked up many good guitar tips from the YouTubes. It's good for scales, modes, techniques and song tutorials. But at times you do have to wade through countless videos of people taking ten minutes to explain how to play a ten second phrase ("The uh...index finger goes uh...here, on the uh...fifth fret, uh...second string...uh...") instead of just playing the damn thing.
