Things that frustrate us all

As much of an Apple fangeek that I am, they really piss me off when they constantly pester me to turn on two-factor authentication (which I have no intention of ever doing). Why can't they just shut the fuck up?

And certain products, such as the HomePod, actually require 2FA in order to function. That's even worse!

Fuck Enterprise Rent-a-car. Fuck them up their big stupid ass.

My dad rented me a car (due to a water main break on my street, my own car is stuck in my garage because of all the ice). He had a CONFIRMED RESERVATION. And they yanked it out from under us at the last minute. We went to rent the car and they didn't have any available! Is this fucking LEGAL?!? :wtf:

The post office finally delivered a package from overseas.... that they've had in their hands since September and kept sending to different cities.

Yup.

Happened to me with my car accident. Insurance had the reservation but never any stock that they could use. Never got a car.

Google pushed a news article for me about another snow storm this weekend. My forecast was still fine but I'm right on the edge. I sent it to someone else who hadn't heard of it either - the date on it was Jan 12. Google was pushing me weather notices from a week ago.

Had a customer today who questioned every item on his repair bill. I get this from time to time, but this person was nitpicking to the point of frustration. At one point he said, "This is not how we do things in my country." Professional courtesy kept me from saying what I wanted to say. After discounts and zeroing out items on the bill, the store lost money on the sale and I had to step away from the counter to take a break and regain my composure.

One time I had a rental car reservation for a small, unassuming sedan. But when I got there to sign in and pick up the car, they didn't actually have any of that type available. So they upgraded me to a fancier car. Thankfully they honored the original price for the reservation. I do find it annoying that car rental places will often try to upsell you, though. Does the person at the counter get a commission? I'm just doing some normal and boring driving around town for a couple days... no, I don't need to upgrade to a Ford Mustang for four times the price, and I don't get why you're "recommending" it for such mundane use.

I remember a decade or so back we had a small accident. We had a matrix, needed the storage space for mobility equipment. Insurance/rental company tried to put us into a tiny sedan because it was listed as being in the same category as the Matrix. I had to raise hell about it.

I don't what commericals are like in other markets, but it seems that every other commercial here in Seattle is from a law office with a "Have you been injured in a car accident/at work/pulled over for drunk driving? We can help."

Been consistent over here in Spokane too. Or for a local brake company.

You mean, at the same time? "Do this now. Please and thank you." WTF?

I have never encountered that in my entire life .
