Things that frustrate us all

Just a moment ago, I was at a four-lane red light. Left lane is turn left, other three lanes are straight (and eventually the right two lanes turn right). Lead car in the far right lane, as soon as it turns green, is signaling left and forces its way into the next lane, then moves one more lane over and just stops. As far as I could tell, this car from the far right wanted to move three lanes over into the far left. But because there wasn’t enough room to move three lanes like that (plus left turn is now red), it just stops one lane short and doesn’t move. So the car behind it honks and only then does the front car go forward.
Driving seems to be getting worse.

Half the people I meet have no idea how to drive around school buses. They sometimes stop for me on a five-lane road. Like I'd let my passengers cross five lanes of rush hour traffic.

I am continuously amazed at how poorly speed limits are treated. It's either ten over or ten under and that is if I am lucky. Trying to pass a too slow car and a too fast one is up my rear bumper because apparently actually doing the speed limit is unreasonable. :brickwall:

Or they follow closely behind you, practically riding your bumper trying to get you to speed up. Especially during heavy rains when visibility is bad and the roads are slick, and everyone should be driving even more carefully than normal. Are these people trying to kill somebody, or what?

What's the George Carlin line? Every one going slower than you is a moron and every one going faster than you is a maniac?

Yeah, that too. We've had been at red lights and had cars stop behind so close their front bumper is practically touching out back bumper. It's especially unnerving when it's huge pick-ups or SUVs that are almost 2x the size of our Toyota Camry.

People here have stopped using turn signals as well.

I have sat with my left signal on while across the street someone just sits there with no signal, not moving nor acknowledging my attempt to get them to go so I can go. Eventually I give up, begin to turn in front of them anyway and THEN they lurch forward!

I quickly stop for them as they drive by flipping me off as if I was one with without a legal license. Unbelievable gall.

Morons are gonna' moron.

Something that always frustrates me is seeing the trailer of a new show drop on a streaming service and knowing they'll stick with the outdated weekly release instead of releasing it all at once and allowing for the full immersion in the story.

Talking of new shows I just saw the trailer for the tv adaptation of “Slow horses” based on the series of spy novels by Mick Herron.
It is a book series that I have read and I have a really strong mental image of the characters that look only vaguely like the actors now cast.
So do I watch the programme or just plough on with the books?

I prefer it that way, because it spurs better conversation and anticipation when everyone is on the same episode and has time to discuss it before everyone else knows how it ends.

Last week I was driving and a giant truck changed lanes directly behind me and then tailgated me. There was another car maybe 5 car lengths in front of me. If he broke suddenly, forcing me to break, he would have barreled into me. Even after he changed lanes he didn't back off.

What he hell, don't they train these truck drivers?!
