How crazy is it that phones still don’t give you a way to mute apps or block things from stopping your music?
You know probably the only reason they haven’t offered this obvious feature to prevent something everyone thinks is annoying is ad companies incentivized them not to.

While driving through town today, saw a couple vehicles who could not be bothered to slow down for five seconds as the vehicles in front of them had slowed down to turn right. They immediately switched into the left lane without any regard for the vehicles in that lane. One of them signaled left but still forced his way into the left lane.
We had a ton rain over the weekend, and the wash I cross while riding my bike was flowing when I went out on Monday, so I asked some people I saw I could get across. They said hadn't been all the way down to the end were I cross, but there was no way I would be able to get through, so I took a detour that took me out of my out of my way, and ended having to ride through whole bunch of mud. On my back, I decided to check for myself, and it turns out the water flows under the sidewalk where I cross, and I could have gone that way all along.
When some classic food or drink product you've enjoyed for years goes out of production it's a sad day.
But when some old classic returns it's a day filled with joy.

Yet there are people in your state who declare that, because they are so "smart" and "cautious," they're refusing the vaccine and won't wear even a paper mask in public for any reason. The Governor agrees with them.

I tend to find people who are smart don't have to declare the fact they are smart, as for people who go around saying they are smart well the jury is out on that one. Besides a disease dosn't care if you are smart or not, but surely these "smart" people would realise they need to be cautious because not everyone is as "smart" as them and won't be being as "cautious" as them.

It's strange that triangular potato cakes like that only seem to be available to the food service industry (at least in the US; in the UK triangles seem to be the default for frozen grocery store hash browns).
The oblong rounded rectangle-ish hash brown patties are ubiquitous in grocery store frozen sections, but somehow they just aren't the same because of the shape.

I have the worst luck. A little over a month ago, my computer fell of the back of the couch and pooped the screen out of the back and cracked it, so I took it into a UbreakIfix to get it repaired. The guy there convinced me it was a lot cheaper to sign up for a insurance program and bring it once it was in effect, so once the month was up last week, I took it in. The guy said it would be 2 hours if the had the parts, or a few days if they didn't, but either way he'd call in 2 hours. I finally called them when I hadn't heard from them after 6 or 7 hours, he guy said they didn't have the parts, they wouldn't come in until Friday, and that my computer would be ready Saturday morning. I never heard from them at all on Saturday, and they were the one and only UbreakIfix that was closed on Sunday. We stopped by on my way home from work, since the store I work at is right across the street. The guy in there today said that the replacement screen they put on was defective, and the insurance company will get ahold of me
