numerous studies prove men talk far more than women. Because men are considered the default it’s perceived as a abnormal for women to talk as much as men.

Yes they do. I have a friend that does that and I often have to resist the urge to punch him.

Reminds me of my dad. One year for his birthday my mom got him a shirt that said, "Help! I'm talking and I can't shut up!"
So that texture I was working on a couple of days ago...I'm proud of the texture coordinate mapping I did, I'm having a hard time getting the actual texture, itself, to match my doorknobs (my real, physical doorknobs in my house).
I think I'm pretty close now, but I have another 20-25 minutes or so to wait until I see the final results.

lol- my mom and both my husband's mothers are talkers. They think I'm quiet but I just can't get a word in edgewise.
My mom used to tell people I am shy. They would usually tell her "No, he's just quiet". Like you it's because I could never get a word in.
I'm not sure I could tolerate that.
It is intolerable, but you can learn to zone it out. Often, I find I’m being screamed at by him demanding ‘Daddy! You’re not listening to me!’.
Hmmm, wonder why.
Despite the relatively nice weather here in Toronto, the roof at SkyDome has to stay closed all fucking week because of damage.

argh!! I lost a filling from the edge of a front tooth this morning. The razor-sharp edge drives me crazy and the dentist can't fit me in until 4:30 - another nerve-wrecking 6 hours to go. I sooo hope someone will cancel their appointment so that I can get help earlier. It's not that it'd hurt, it's just mega-irritating and it takes all my self control to not fumble the edge with my tongue all the time.
