Things that frustrate us all

It's a Hollywood prop: a gun that emits mock smoke. Or is it the one his people will point at him if he keeps mocking their intellectual abilities with his lie.. err… alternative facts? (Maybe that's the reason for the weapons lobby still running strong, in spite of all those amok shooters??)
When people are asked to pick ONE thing (favorite book, movie, etc.) and go on to list more than one!
Welcome to the board :)
Yep, not sticking with the given number is rather annoying. On the other hand, with some things it's really hard to make a definite choice - if you'd ask me which is my favourite book I couldn't give you an answer as there are so many books I couldn't imagine living without. The same goes for argh-moments, in a certain respect: they tend to scarcely go alone - a bit like guys going for a pee :D

Today's argh is an old one: the darned spellcheck randomly inserts capital letters where it suspects a word to be a noun. After months of trial and error I had fixed that on my old computer and can't remember anymore how I did it. I got a new one recently and now have to find out again how I managed last time. One really ought to always document changes one makes to settings *sigh*

^one day someone will starve to death in the middle of a ton of food packages because they don't get the darned wrapping open!
(and am I getting old or are jar-lids really sealed tighter nowadays than they used to be?)

I have found the world's greatest douchebag.

Show me a greater douchebag.

Granted, it looks douchey, but there are a few questions to establish context.

Is this being done with permission? Does the car owner also own the parking lot? Is it staged? You know... details.... :) (Google image search doesn't say.)

I like psychological horror films, just not the ones that seem to just be about creatively murdering all the characters. If a horror film doesn’t value the lives of its protagonists, I won’t watch it.

My frustrating coworker, every time I think he’s making an effort to work better with the team, comes right back around again. He argues for the sake of arguing as if he only cares about being considered ‘The one who was right’. Sometimes he is right. Other times he’s wrong, everyone else knows he’s wrong, but you still have to ARGUE, and ARGUE, and ARGUE. When you ask him to review a pull request, he takes 24 hours because he wants to finish up all his own work first. Then he leaves dozens of useless nitpicky comments and when you push changes, takes all day to look at them again. Any comment you disagree with he makes you argue about. But when he raises a PR he expects you to drop everything and look at it immediately and argues about every small comment.

I wish they’d rotate him to a different team so othe people could take turns having to deal with him.

^ People like that are very tiresome. I have great co-workers at the moment but I have previously had co-workers that made me crazy. Frustrating co-workers take so much energy to deal with.

I don't work with co-workers, or maybe exceptionally, and when it happens I am doing it as a favor to the people in question, so, fortunately, I don't have to deal with cases like that. Must be a real pain though.
