Things that frustrate us all

When a person gives you a brief, but deliberate, look of contemptuous disdain. A dirty look so cutting it could theoretically outlast the sun, but for the smug that subsumes any other expression.

Some people are just cunts, but they wear it like a baboons arse.

Looks can work both ways. I usually repay that kind of attitude in kind.

People with a high opinion of themselves have much to lose when they're seen picking their noses... Talk about a sudden loss of dignity!

Finding and getting non-employer-based health insurance in the US.

I'm one of the only people in this country to ever be accepted for SSDI after my first application (hell, I didn't even fill out the forms and survey they sent after initially seeing someone at the SS Dept offices), but finding acceptable supplementary insurance is both exceptionally difficult (especially considering most people looking are over 65) and frustrating. They don't make the process easy at all. Finding decent and neutral information online is also a pain.

I usually do, but at that point I was unaware of my perceived slight, and was still operating under the pretence of civility.

To hell with that.
People like that make me very angry. I come across people like that too now and again. I tend to be direct and tell them what I think about their behaviour. It most often doesn’t make a difference and I end up getting frustrated.

Those clickbait-y sites that discuss twenty different things related to a particular topic but make you keep clicking the "next" button to get to a new slide instead of just showing everything on one page, and then subject you to a different barrage of browser-bogging ads on each slide.

^geoblocking has just been declared illegal in the EU. With a little luck the idea will spread.
When you hold the door for someone following you as a courtesy (the kind of door that closes automatically) and they just move past you without even acknowledging your presence! It makes you wish you'd released the door in their faces instead!
In such cases I use to say "you're welcome". Most people then automatically start to say "but I didn't..." ,think and blush. Next time they do say "Thanks" :D

About your bottom line, what if someone hugs their psychiatrist? Wouldn't that have the opposite effect?

Something that frustrates me? Geoblocking.

Hopefully it was at least mentioned in the video!
Aww man, I’m sorry. It’s really dumb that you can’t see it because of where you live.

The episode is on Hulu if you have a subscription and you’re curious. I’m a big SNL fan, personally. That’s usually where I watch it. :)

That sounds lovely in theory! Although I do wonder how it would work out in practice, with distribution rights owned by different companies in different countries.

No worries, you kinda get used to it here! ;)

Actually, Hulu isn’t available in Canada either! I think SNL airs on Global here, so I could always poke around their website and see if I could find it there. :)

Speaking of which, quizzes that don't build their answers cleverly enough to even have entertainment value.

Look, you GOT me, you gained my click and my data by making me think it'd be fun to see what Game of Thrones character I am. But at least put enough effort into it so I can draw a logical line between my answers and the result! If you asked a question "Did you wrestle in high school" and I say no, don't guess that I wrestled in high school!

People who take your stupid quizzes should look at the answer and think "Huh, yeah that kinda makes sense. Neat." Not "...WTF does that have to do with what I answered?!" Deliver on promise, pointless time suck quiz writers!

When people come to my door, ring the bell, and ask me if I want someone to mow the lawn or trim the hedges... Not noticing that my lawn is perfect as are my hedges! I mean, it's supposed to be their job for goldfish pet's sake! Open your eyes!
