Excuse my ignorance but what is a collective? Is it like house sharing??I live in a collective with three other women. One of the women moved in the other week and is newly separated from her husband. Her seven year old daughter comes to live with her during the weekends. I'm constantly reminded of the fact that I'm not that fond of kids.
Yeah, my right big toe is quite badly infected.
It's been mostly dead for a couple of years but in the last few months...
Don't read below if you have a weak stomach...
Seriously, last chance...
...I've had a bit of an open wound on the bottom of my toe and the skin around it was hard and peeling.
My toe has been numb for years, but the dried, cracked skin only started happening several months ago. The open crater on the bottom of my toe showed up right around the time of my dad's Celebration of Life.
Right now my toe is about twice its normal width, purplish, yellowish, and draining smelly fluid/puss.
Yeah, sorry you clicked the spoiler tag?
Far beyond time. Who's going to pay?
I probably use the wrong word for it since english isn't my native language but, yes, it's like house sharing. We share the house and it's resources like food and such.
What’s a third-shift? Is that a night shift?About to embark on Day One of a third-shift job because I don't make enough money as a videographer. This'll be fun..
Overnight. 9:15 PM to 5:45 AM in my case. Just waking up now. I'm about to go back to bed again. I have to get my body used to this. What’s a third-shift? Is that a night shift?
I know those. I did the occasional night shift in a warehouse. 22:30 through till 6am. Crazy.Overnight. 9:15 PM to 5:45 AM in my case. Just waking up now. I'm about to go back to bed again. I have to get my body used to this.
My night shift experience was a rather sedentary affair. I was admin suppprt, just in case it was needed, but it wasn’t.Yup. A warehouse is where I am right now.
I did third shift before but it was a long time ago. I worked behind the counter at a Sunoco A-Plus in 2001-2002. The place was dead for most of the shift.
Not so lucky this time. I'm on the constant move with this one. But it shouldn't be too bad, once I adjust to the hours.
A doctor's bill is still lower than the costs of a funeral. Go and see an MD about that asap. You risk not only losing the toe but also a lethal blood poisoning.Far beyond time. Who's going to pay?
What sort of money do doctors charge in the US? I’ve had to pay for antibiotics once overseas, and I think that was about $50 I think for the course.
