Star Wars. ET. The Wizard of Oz. You name it. They even used a midget in "Jaws" for a shark cage scene with an actual Great White, and midgets as an airport ground crew in Casablanca--they're working on the DC3 (which was cardboard and 1/2 size) in the background of the Bogey/Bergman scene at the end.

This is a good sign for this movie. Even more so because I'm pretty sure no midgets were used in INS, NEM, or GEN.
