These Are The Voyages Popularity?

When you're tightening or loosening a screw or a bolt with a tool or even a tap with your hands.

If you turn the bastard to the right (Clockwise) it tightens.

If you turn the bastard to the left it loosens (anticlockwise) it loosens.

A childs rhyme to remember this is "Righty Tighty, lefty loosley".

If your starships Chief Engineer is always seen mumbling under his breath "Righty tighty, lefty loosely" before ha goes at anything with his trusty hydrospanner, in all likelyhood, that's why the ship blew up in cold front and everyone died.

Whatshisname the pilot should have died instead. Then we could all be "yep, ENT took that big step and killed off a main character" but actually not really care.

In your opinion, what would have been right reasons for him to die?
Basically none.

I guessed as much. ;)

I have always wondered if people would be less upset with this episode if noone had died.

To be honest, I wasn't too upset about it. I knew he was going to die before I even started watching ENT. I would have been more upset if he had married T'Pol. :p

Thanks for the subtitles. ;)

This reminds me of Mr. Lemon repeating to himself "left is where my thumb is on the right" while driving.

TATV is about as welcome in my DVD collection as a used dish rag in a pie.

Oh wait, that really happened...

And a special pic for teacake ;)

Lubrication is only for wussies, or bicycle messengers because they're chaffed raw before the sex even starts.

:rommie:When I saw that picture I thought of Hoshi yelling for more carrots to so could make her famous Japanese meal for the crew.

I have seen "These are the Voyages" and have very little negative to say about it as a whole. I do hate that a popular character was killed off, and that the crew did not get more of a sendoff, say, with a two-hour finale. But I did like seeing TNG characters again, with one (Riker) interacting with the ENT crew. They mostly did well, fusioning the two series together as they did, it just was not totally appropriate for a end of series show. Maybe it would have worked as an anniversary special.

Other than a couple of data points, like the birth of the precursor of the Federation and that Archer gave a big speech, this one is completely useless, especially since it takes place almost entirely on the holodeck, and can therefore be written off as a badly written program that got the history all wrong.
