I so a new TV spot for the movie that isn't the Super Bowl one anyone else see it.
The new Star Trek TV ad shows some new footage and comes with the tagline "Forget Everything you Know".
I was surprised by the TV spot, so I didn't record it....However, it was more of what we already saw, just "extra" ---The new Star Trek TV ad shows some new footage and comes with the tagline "Forget Everything you Know".
What kind of new footage? Please?

--- for instance, there was a scene that presumably was in the "skydiving shuttle" where the skydivers were all standing up holding a handle above their heads when suddenly their feet left the floor in unison and they were slightly horizontal -- just like as if the shuttle dropped in altitude suddenly.
Beyond that, I don't remember specifics. I need to record that channel to see if it's on again.
I remembered the "Forget Everything You Know" because I think that is very interesting that they are telling us that.
From what happens in the Countdown comic, that's DEFINATELY Romulus being destroyed.
The scene is probably sped up, I can imagine a far slower one in the actual film.

I think it probably occurs at that speed. One they have a lot of story to tell, one they want to keep the pace quick (one of the complaints about Trek is is slow pace, well in everything).
