On Frengenar there are giant statues of Rom in every major city on the planet... Plus it's now weather controlled, it has now the same climate as Risa (that was to stop the continuous exodus toward that planet)...

You’ve obviously never seen the National Geographic documentary about the CatDog. Shame.

I love the look of the Discovery Andorians. I just wish the antennae would be more expressive, especially since the new makeup techniques rob a lot of the facial expressiveness from Discovery aliens in general.

The ENT Andorians' antennae are very nicely expressive though.

Abso-freaking-lutely. The antennae are also the one part of the ENT Andorians' design that I wish they would have kept. The segmented/articulated thing just looks better to me.

By the by, I find myself wondering about the *functional* aspects of the Discovery build (because I write fanfic/game stuff about Andorians). Like, what do the extra ridges we see, indicate about Andorian musculoskeletal system or more broadly, physiology in general? What do the eyebrow tendrils *do*? Surely they do *something.*

*jumps into that old post I made about alien sex acts, and if Andorians suck each other's antennae*

Well, it had to be part of the evolutionary process at one time or another, or it wouldn't exist.

No doubt but that doesn't mean it doesn't do something now.

If something is useless, it withers.

Did you know that on a snake's skeleton you can still see where the legs used to be?

How about: I'd LIKE them to do something, or have some kind of function? It'd be interesting.

I think any fan theory on it will make it more interesting than if exposited in dialog.

I'm very surprised that Grand Nagus Rom didn't make a profit selling friendly helper synths after the Federation banned them. Riker and Troi would've gone to Ferenginar to cure their son, and become the Ferengi's new biggest fans. Dr. Jurati would be living on Ferenginar because there was no work for her on Earth. And it'd all still be in line with Rom's kinder, friendlier, Ferengi Alliance goals he was championing.

Rom got Ferengenar weather-controlled. It looks like Risa now.

I'm of the opinion Rom was assassinated about two weeks after WYLB. You can't just completely turn around a society like that. RIP Odo as well.
