Malorie - Josh Malerman (A sequel to Bird Box)
Mexican Gothic - Silvia Moreno-Garcia (a murder mystery set in 1950s Mexico City)
My Heart is a Chainsaw - Stephen Graham Jones (2021 Bram Stoker Award winner and the first of a trilogy)
The Last House on Needless Street - Catriona Ward (Murder and kidnapping, a mysterious forest where something is buried, and a cat as occasional comic relief)
The Deep - Alma Katsu (a supernatural --maybe, the book leaves it ambiguous whether the supernatural stuff actually happened-- thriller set aboard the Titanic and Britannic)
Home Before Dark - Riley Sager (Haunted House story)
Don't Move - James S. Murray and Darren Wearmouth (a huge prehistoric spider that hunts by sensing vibrations stalks campers in a West Virginia forest)
Hopefully there's enough variety there you can find something you might enjoy. All are post-2020 and well-reviewed and/or bestsellers.
