The X-Files : Season X (Spoilers!)

Both the X-Files Wiki and Wikipedia have some kind of indicator for mythology episodes on their guides.

Thanks for asking. Mine is your basic monster-of-the-week story set sometime during the fourth season, before Scully's whole cancer plot kicks in. It's "classic" X-FILES: Mulder and Scully investigating strange goings-on in a college town in the Pacific Northwest . . ..

The title is "Mummiya," which may give you a hint where I'm going . . ..

Thanks for the details, Greg. I look forward to reading it.

I actually did that a couple years ago, and it works really well. There's a website somewhere that has a list of them.

It's probably the reason why I have absolutely no problem understanding the mythology anymore. It is complicated, but it all fits together.

You may be referring to the Eat the Corn website. They've cataloged all the mythology episodes and connected all the dots between them.

I once bought an X-Files compendium, but it was rather limited because it had been published mid-series. Hopefully, they'll come up with a comprehensive visual encyclopedia someday.

I don't know if this qualifies, but Amazon has a listing for The Complete X-Files: Revised and Updated coming out in September. I bought the first edition of this back in 2008 and it's a thick, coffee-table book that has write-ups on all of the episodes, seasons, movies, and other media. Looks like the comics and revival should be included in this new one.

They should say that Doggett left the FBI and is now with Homeland Security as a reference to Robert Patrick's role on Scorpion.

I'd prefer that to killing him off-camera. Leave the door open for him to return, either in future episodes (*fingers crossed*) or some tie-in material down the road.

In a related matter, for anyone that purchased the X-Files on blu-ray, Fox is sending out replacement discs for the eighth season set. Apparently there were issues with the video quality (I've seen "black crush" mentioned, whatever that is) so they decided to go back to press for those discs and fix the problem.

I just received an email from Fox which said that the replacement discs will start shipping out in March.

Yeah black crush looks like someone threw black ink all over a picture. though it does depend on you blu-ray and tv because my season 8 disks don't look as dark as some of the screenshots I've seen. It looks dark but no real black crush for me but I still asked for the replacement disks because one day I might get a new player/tv and I don't want to get stuck with bad disks.

Another video. OMG :lol::lol:

I don't want to watch too many of these clips, lest they spoil the episode for me. But that first one is hilarious.

Darin Morgan strikes again. That is classic Mulder and Scully.

Yep. So far it's been him and his brother Glen, that I've recognized M & S the most, followed by Chris. In James Wong's entry, I didn't recognize them all that much and everything (except for the scary scenes and the William dream sequences) fell flat.

This episode looks really great. Darin Morgan episodes never fail to entertain me.

Whoo..got my season eight replacement blu-rays in mail just now. They told me March but I got them early. I need to do some important stuff so no time to view them just yet,
