At least some of the other lousy episodes made sense.

The Alternative Factor was both a lousy plot and made no sense, probably because the editing was horiffic.

I hated The Way to Eden while watching it, but I did enjoy the end where the hippie leaders die and the rest become disillusioned. Bad episode, great message.

I just can't get past the horsie scene in Plato's Stepchildren. It made me cringe more than anything else I can remember. Even after all Will Shatner has done, he did not deserve that.

Actually, and I'll probably catch hell for this, I think "The Menagerie" is worse. At least "Spock's Brain" has an ounce or two of entertainment value to it. "TM" is just, well, our characters sitting around watching Star Trek.

It was interesting I suppose for "it's time" to see the unaired pilot, but for someone who's SEEN the unaired pilot it's just not fun watching characters sitting around watching it.

I can't understand people picking episodes like Spock's Brain or The Way To Eden. Both of those have cheesy entertainment value. I would pick a completely forgettable episode like That Which Survives.
